The International Ostomy Association, an association of Ostomy associations, is committed to the improvement of the quality of life of Ostomates and those with related surgeries, worldwide.

It provides to its member associations, information and management guidelines, helps to form new Ostomy associations, and advocates on all related matters and policies.

It is organized to grow and develop while remaining independent and financially viable.


IOA MEMBERSHIP FEES TASK FORCE
At the IOA Executive Committee Meeting held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 21 June, it was decided that a comprehensive review would be undertaken of Annual Fees which are paid by Member Associations towards IOA administration costs and which also help fund Regional activities.  At the same time the voting structure at World Council Meetings will also be reviewed.
